Our client is looking for an additional Assistant Solicitor to join their employment team.
You will be responsible fro advising and assisting the Firm’s clients on a range of employment matters including contracts of employment, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, redundancies, discrimination complaints etc. You will also be assisting other fee earners in the department where required while keeping up to date with all legal and regulatory developments and changes. You will engage in to marketing activity, including seminars, lunches, newsletters and networking events. You will observe the SRA’s Code of Conduct and appropriate standards of professional conduct.
Clear objectives will be linked to the Firm’s business plan and you will participate in the performance management system, assessing performance and giving feedback as relevant. You will work to clearly identify the standards and systems required to continually improve our customer service and comply with all the Firm’s relevant policies and procedures ensuring confidentiality at all times.
