An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate Wealth Manager looking to develop a long-term career within wealth management. This role is ideal for candidates who have already started working towards their Diploma in Financial Planning, have relevant industry experience, and are keen to progress towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.

Working alongside an experienced Wealth Manager, you will provide high-quality client support while receiving ongoing training and development to further your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client meetings alongside the Wealth Manager.
  • Manage and complete follow-up actions from client meetings.
  • Prepare suitability reports and business submissions.
  • Complete pension calculations, including annual allowance and carry forward.
  • Update and maintain client financial review information.
  • Manage the Wealth Manager's client pipeline and workflow.
  • Produce financial planning reports and cashflow modelling.
  • Prepare drawdown review and fund switch documentation.
  • Respond to client technical and administrative enquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for referrals and additional business from existing clients.
  • Manage workflow through CRM systems and internal business trackers.
  • Assist with defined benefit pension transfer administration.
  • Prepare client illustrations and electronic business submissions.
  • Complete critical yield calculations where required.
  • Coordinate Letters of Authority and outsourced administrative processes.

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within Wealth Management or a regulated Financial Services environment.
  • At least 2 CII R0 exams (or equivalent) completed towards the Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience using financial planning and cashflow modelling software.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, proactive, and positive attitude.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
