Our client, a reputable established MSP is looking for an additional Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is constantly evolving and growing and become part of their employee ownership collaborative.
The ideal person will have at least a year of experience working in an IT role dealing with technical enquiries and troubleshooting of PC and Mac, hardware and software issues. It would be advantageous if you have worked on a ticketing system or have experience of working for an MSP previously, although not essential.
You will be responsible for supporting desktops and laptops, windows server and windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, networking, firewalls, access points and switches. You will resolve client problems remotely and escalate to senior engineers when necessary.
It is essential that you have a passion for IT, are an excellent problem solver, have strong analytical skills, great communication skills both written and verbal and ability to work under pressure.
