Trainee Financial Planner - Banstead

We are working with a superb wealth management firm based in Banstead, Surrey who have the opportunity for a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team. They are offering the chance to train with their team to become a fully qualified adviser. You will received learning support and on-hands experience, where you will be in control of how quickly you would like to be working as an adviser.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the administration team to help gather policy information

• Help with projects: for example Mifid annual reviews, other client campaigns, annual portfolio rebalances

• Help Advisers writing reports: eg. Annual review letters, client suitability report

• General admin support

• Speaking directly to clients and carrying out client reviews

• Relationship building

• Generating and converting opportunities into business

Experience and qualifications:

• Must have been studying for exams towards being an IFA/or fully qualified

• May already have some financial services industry experience and wants to move on

• Degree holder

• Good with excel, word etc

• Keen to quickly work through the ranks by working hard

• Good communication skills: phone, face to face, and written

• Study support is available

• Demonstrate initiative

• Entrepreneurial

• hold a driving license

• Team player

This is a 2/3 year programme with support with examinations to reach the fully qualified IFA status.
