Business Development Manager - London

We are working with a well-established SJP firm in the heart of London looking to take on a Business Development Manager. You will help explore, secure and develop new business relationships and distribution opportunities across the core business channels. As a Business Development Manager, you will have a significant impact on establishing effective client relationships to further develop the business across major clients, driving growth and new revenue.


  • Develop and execute business development strategies designed to achieve revenue targets across the financial wellbeing and B2B client propositions
  • Strategic sales & account management planning from concept to execution across core business channels
  • Drive & generate revenue by adopting an entrepreneurial approach to engage and acquire new clients
  • Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape and be able to effectively articulate the company's value proposition
  • Effectively identify new ways to reach existing markets or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients by proactively seeking out business opportunities and demonstrating the value proposition
  • Ad hoc projects as required


Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of sales/ business development experience, ideally with a focus on B2B selling within the financial services or employee wellbeing sector
  • Broad-based knowledge of the sales process, from lead generation to relationship management
  • Excellent communicator, capable of handling high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Committed to delivering first-class client experience
  • Extremely organised with the ability to multi-task
  • Meticulous attention to detail
