Digital Marketing Manager

Our client is looking to hire a new Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a global role which can be flexible in terms of work location and hours though client would prefer a UK base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with company's external agency to maintain and drive improvement of the content, design and performance of website
  • Work with company's external agency to manage, implement and develop SEO strategy in line with marketing and shared business objectives
  • Manage the integration of CRM and marketing automation tools (Dynamics/Click Dimensions) into marketing processes and campaigns (lead generation and nurture, event management, client touchpoints and etc.). Identify and develop new processes to improve efficiencies and data insights.
  • Day to day web publishing / content updates
  • Mailing list management and execution of email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with daily database maintenance tasks and data analysis, highlighting gaps and inconsistencies and working with the extended team to fix
  • Produce accurate and useful reports on a regular basis, supplying updates on agreed metrics across websites, online tools, and lead sources / agencies.
  • Provide thought leadership on digital marketing trends and developments including the evaluation of emerging technologies and techniques
  • Ad hoc non-digital marketing support such as copywriting, proofreading, PR, event management

Experience and Skills Required

  • 3, ideally 5, years previous experience in marketing manager role, with a focus on digital and data
  • Good understanding and experience of marketing tools and platforms such as:
    • Microsoft Dynamics/Click Dimensions or similar CRM/marketing automation tools
    • Google Analytics
    • Wordpress or other similar web publishing tools 
  • Problem solver with strong data analytical skills
  • A creative eye with experience of image editing and creating brand assets in tools such as Canva.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Professional marketing/digital marketing qualification would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of the Financial Services sector would be a bonus
