Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Paraplanner to join their Dorking office. They are looking for someone with FCA certification and strong financial planning experience who can provide tailored advice, support clients effectively, and contribute to the growth and development of the office. This role offers career progression opportunities, including the potential to qualify as an adviser and advance to Head of Office in the future.


Overview:
Working closely with the Head of Advice, you’ll provide professional financial advice across investments, insurance, pensions, and tax. You’ll support clients with tailored strategies, maintain client records, and assist with onboarding and office processes. This role offers the opportunity to qualify as an adviser and potentially progress into Head of Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare client communications, letters, and reports.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of client financial circumstances and goals.
  • Design and present financial strategies and risk analyses.
  • Support business growth through client acquisition and networking.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures.
  • Assist with client onboarding, charging processes, and information management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills & Experience:

  • FCA certification in financial planning.
  • Knowledge of asset classes and financial products.
  • Experience in research, analysis, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ethical approach, discretion, and client confidentiality.
  • Team player, adaptable, and self-motivated.
