PARAPLANNER - SURREY, LEATHERHEAD

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm, working closely alongside a Chartered Financial Planner within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team and is looking to grow with an expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing suitability reports and financial reviews
• Conducting research and due diligence on products and providers
• Providing technical support to the wider team
• Attending client meetings where required
• Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes
• Supporting the financial planning process from research through to recommendations

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning or similar role
• Experience producing suitability reports and recommendation letters
• Strong knowledge of pensions and investments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience using financial planning back-office systems desirable
• Level 4 Diploma preferred, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
